Supporting Educators’ Social Emotional Skills and Wellbeing

Drawing on the Multi-Tiered System of Support framework, DESE, in partnership with Walker Therapeutic & Educational Programs, is offering a four-part interactive series on developing a systemic approach to supporting educator social and emotional learning and well-being, now and beyond the pandemic. Participants do not have to attend all sessions. The sessions are:
- Session 1: Individual Strength: Supporting and Modeling Our Own Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Wellbeing within a Systemic Framework, 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 10
- Session 2: Group Strength: Teams and Collaborative Practices to Support Adult SEL and Wellbeing, 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 17
- Session 3: System Strength: Schoolwide Organizational Supports and Structures to Support Adult SEL and Wellbeing, 9:00-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24
- Session 4: Final Wrap-Up 1:00-3:00 p.m. (Date & Time TBD)
Interested educators, school leaders, and SEL/mental health staff should register online for the sessions that interest them.
